Palmyra and salt. head to PuSh in 2019

Two shows made right here in Bristol and supported by MAYK are heading across the pond in the New Year as part of Vancouver’s PuSh Festival.

salt., by Selina Thompson which was commissioned by MAYK, Theatre Bristol and Yorkshire Festival and which premiered at Mayfest 2016, and Palmyra, by our Associate Artists’ Bert & Nasi will both feature as part of PuSh’s 15th Anniversary programme in January.

salt. has toured extensively since 2016, including an award-winning and critically acclaimed run at Edinburgh Fringe in 2017. In May 2019 it will run for three weeks at the Royal Court in London.

Bert & Nasi’s Palmyra, the second part of a trilogy that began with Eurohouse and will be completed with One next year, has also toured internationally including two runs at Edinburgh Fringe and featured as part of Mayfest 2018.

PuSh is a highlight of the international festival calendar, presenting work from all over the world from small scale to main stage and site-responsive work.
