MAYK is a theatre producing organisation that collaborates with artists and audiences to make exciting things happen in unusual ways.
Demostage returns. It's our informal, temporary space for those working on creative projects to share their ideas and receive helpful feedback. Open to people who make all kinds of creative projects (be it theatre, music, games, sound, or beyond), we want to encourage discussion, collaboration, and critical discourse. All welcome.
Mayfest will return in 2018 bringing with it the best theatre and performance from the UK and beyond to venues and surprising spaces across the city.
Following the phenomenally popular hit Two Man Show, we’re delighted to be building on our mission to bring world-class performance to our audiences in Bristol year-round, by working with Tobacco Factory Theatres and Bristol Old Vic to bring RashDash back to the Tobacco Factory Theatres with their new show.
Invites the most exciting makers we can find to present and play in the city
Curates and commissions bespoke theatrical events for Bristol
Produces, develops and tours new work nationally and internationally
Our major project is Mayfest, Bristol's international festival of contemporary theatre, and we also work with a number of artists to develop, present and tour their work. Currently we work with Still House, Sleepdogs, Firebird Theatre and Sam Halmarack.
